Our story
I. H. Khan and Associates was established to give growing businesses and individuals in Mumbai and Thane access to the kind of tax and structuring advice that is usually reserved for large corporate clients. What began as an income tax and GST compliance practice in Mumbai has grown, with the demand from our clients, into a firm that also helps them expand abroad — setting up and maintaining companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Panama, Seychelles, the Cayman Islands and Delaware.
Our second office in Thane serves the fast-growing business community along the Central line, where we work with traders, manufacturers, contractors, professionals and families who want reliable, personal attention to their compliance.
We are deliberately a boutique practice: you deal with senior people, we know your file, and we would rather explain a position clearly than hide behind jargon.

Understand first. Every engagement starts with understanding your business, your income sources and your plans — because the right tax answer depends on the facts.
Compliance as a foundation. Clean books, reconciled returns and a maintained compliance calendar are the base on which every tax-saving strategy rests. We get that right before anything else.
Structure with the whole picture in view. When we set up an overseas entity, we also consider the Indian ODI, FEMA, POEM and transfer pricing implications so that the structure works in both countries.
Straight talk. If something is aggressive, risky or not worth the cost, we will tell you. Our advice is meant to protect you, not just to say yes.
